If the summer inspires your bike to come out after a long hibernation then make sure its road worthy before embarking on the first journey. A local bike shop should be able to carry out a cheap and simply service ensuring the gears work, the brakes will stop you and the tyres are not going to puncture 10 minutes down the road!
